Before your Makeup & Hair Appointment Guide
WEDDING DAY DO’S 👰🏼♀️
👰🏼♀️Wash your hair the night before. Firs, apply a hair treatment and wash your hair and dry it the night before.
👰🏼♀️Get a facial done before the wedding. We do a facial the morning of the wedding day.
👰🏼♀️Exfoliate & hydrate your skin the day before. We always do a facial the morning of but always prepare your skin and follow your skincare routine working up to your wedding day.
👰🏼♀️Prepare everything the night before. Get your bags and everything prepared that you will need for the wedding day.
👰🏼♀️Prepare your hair extensions the night before. Have them hanging on a hanger and ready to go. We will apply the hair extensions that you have and curl or Prep them accordingly.
Order your Hair Extensions
👰🏼♀️Have a bridal suite to get ready in or a large well lit space to get ready in. Make sure we are in a large space that is well lit and has electrical outlets.
👰🏼♀️Arrive at the same time as makeup & hair. It is best for most people to arrive at the start of the timeline, this way we can prep everyone right away. Have anyone coming for a specific time slot to arrive 15 minutes early.
WEDDING DAY DON’TS 👰🏼♀️
👰🏼♀️Don’t expect to sleep in on the day of. Most wedding mornings begin at 7am.
👰🏼♀️Don’t add heat to your hair the day of. Do everything the day before, as it is difficult for heated hair to hold a curl. If you are looking to have your hair naturally curly, defuse it.
👰🏼♀️ Don’t forget your hair extensions, hair accessories, veil, jewelry and your details. Pack everything in your bag the night before.
👰🏼♀️Don’t wax your face the day of (week before) if you are looking to get your brows waxed or facial waxing, always do it a week prior to your makeup application.
👰🏼♀️Don’t expect the bride to go last. Typical wedding day timelines will have the bride in the middle, hair is first and makeup is second.
👰🏼♀️Don’t expect to be done in 30 minutes- bridal makeup & hair is an hour each service.
Be prepared for your wedding day Wedding Day Prep Guide
The Bridal Beauty Team will come to your location with all of our equipment and kits. This includes tables, lighting and all necessary makeup and hair kits. We will need a large open and well lit area with electrical outlets to set up and get everyone ready.
Have everyone arrive at the start time for facials and hair prep, for anyone else who can only come at their scheduled time, come 15 minutes early.
Every wedding that is booked with us recieves a complimentary WEDDING DAY PLAN & TIMELINE with every single wedding detail that we need in order to serve your wedding day with ease.
The team will follow the timeline and get everyone’s bridal makeup and hairstyles done.
